1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies are used so that the site remembers information about your visit: your preferred language, whether you already saw a message, session data, or anonymous usage metrics.
Cookies are not viruses and cannot execute code on your device. But they can collect information about your browsing, and that is why you should know what we use and why.
2. Types of cookies we use
We classify our cookies into three categories:
2.1 Essential cookies (always on)
Necessary for the basic operation of the site. Without them, parts of the site do not work. They do not require your consent because they are technically indispensable.
- Save your cookie choice (so we don't ask you again).
- Remember your preferred language.
- Keep your session if you interact with forms.
- Basic anti-bot protection via Cloudflare.
2.2 Analytics cookies (require consent)
They help us understand how you use the site (which pages are useful, where people get lost, how long they stay). The data is anonymized and aggregated. They are only activated if you give explicit consent.
- Google Analytics 4 (with anonymized IP).
2.3 Marketing cookies
We currently do not use marketing cookies or third-party advertising (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight, etc.).
If we add them in the future, we will notify you via a banner and it will be explicit opt-in before loading them.
